Layout Idea for a Scrapbook page...Sharing Inspiration

For this layout idea created today it focuses detail on the top third of the page. Using transparency elipse and then blending a repeated and flipped photo onto the background paper. Then Overlaying a patterned material and cropping it to cover two thirds of the page.  Elements and lace are layered for interest and decorate the central framed image. This was coloured and buttons added at the bottom of the page.
The screen shot below shows how on layer 2 I have used two papers one is re-coloured yellow and has blend colour burn applied with a transparency of 47% and then a lilac top layer of material has overlay blend added. Creating this lovely colour variation to the layout.
I am a real fan of experimenting further with a digikit and blending, colour changing to achieve a mix of looks from one kit... it can really make your digikit collection work even further for you.

The kit used is called 'Tranquility' and is available at Escape And Scrap where you can see this and others in my Algera Designs collection along with kits from many other designers.
